Business Incubators are facilities designed to provide a nurturing environment
to business start-ups.

Many incubators are based on a specific discipline. For example a life Sciences
incubator will bring together entrepreneurs launching a medical related idea.
Such incubators may include common lab space and shared amenities to keep
overhead to a minimum during the critical startup stage.

An incubator geared toward Information Technologies would include data
infrastructure and a layout conducive to software and hardware development.

What is common to all incubators is collaborative space where individual
entrepreneurs can share ideas and support each other’s ventures.

Over the past 10 years, approximately 12 companies have been founded and grown
right here at 225.

The initial 225 Business Incubator will not have a specific theme.
It will however have areas for collaboration, shared support services such as
Data Lines, Copier* (limited quantity per month) and Fax* (limited quantity
per month), Conference Area and Kitchenette and we plan to make business
mentors available for presentation and discussion based on interest level.

Individual, lockable offices of approximately 100 sq.ft. surround an open area
equipped with a fax and copy machine. Each office is being wired to a shared
T-1 data line (Comcast Business service is available).

*If you wish to send large volumes of faxes and/or make large volumes of copies,
you will need to furnish your own equipment. The idea is to provide a Turnkey
space where you can start and grow your business.

Final pricing will be published in January. Each individual
office will rent for $450.00/month. There is one premium sized office
available for $550/month. The final established price will be all inclusive.
